Mauxion Borderies Lot 45 Cognac

Description

Color: Shiny brownish highlights. Gold with handsome coppery.

Nose: Dense, with rancio, walnut and hazelnut notes, wax and elegant tannins showing ageing in high quality barrels.

Palate: Naturally rounded and powerful for a Borderies. Fine, complex tannins. Interesting combination of nutmeg and licorice notes. A very good Borderies from a vintage that was often difficult, with cool weather.
